Making Hay Using Rex Olson’s Gift to Help Mount Michael

As anyone would notice, when approaching Mount Michael and turning right on to Beller Way, one might think that Mount Michael has a problem with its mowing equipment. We allowed the grass to grow on either side of Beller Way this year. We have saved a lot of money cutting the grass weekly and made some money with the sale of the hay. In many ways, it can help us.

Roger Quinn, one of our nearby friends has helped us hay for many years. During the growing season this year, he will be helping us. His John Deeres are dear to him.

In some ways, Rex Olson, the donor of the our land, is still helping us and Journey’s End farm is still very much alive.
